Session 1:
Clothes vocabulary
Activity 1: “Role playing”
Development: pupils are going to assume the role of a shop
assistant. One of them will be the assistant and the others the consumers. Kids
need to describe the clothes so that the seller can give it to them.
Group: it
is a group activity for the whole class.
Time:
Activity 2: “an article”
Development: pupils have to write an article about the cloth
he/she thinks is going to be trending the next month.
Group: it
is an individual activity.
Time:
Write an article about the cloth you think is going to
be trending next month.
Tips for writing an article:
1. Select the topic.
2. Address your audience´s needs.
3. Research.
4. Tighten your draft,
5. Make it specific,
6. Read, revise, repeat.
Activity 2: “Dress me”
Development: identification of clothing through a box: clothing
items will be placed in it, which the children will take to class and then take
them out and know where on the body should it put them. Children need to know
the name of the cloth in order to take it, the one who has more, wins.
Group: it
is a group activity. We use the cooperative method because the children will
have to be placed in groups to carry out the activity.
