 Session 4 :

 

Make a presentation about a place already visited.

 

In this session we will work on concepts to make a good presentation on a specific topic, in this case it is about a place that has already been visited.

We will also use the past tenses that we have learned in the previous sessions.

 

For your presentation to be correct you must follow these steps:

 

Ø  First, you must enter who you are, exposing your name, age and if you wish some information such as where you live.

 

Ø  Then you will expose the topic on which you are going to talk and you will say the reasons that have led you to choose the topic.

 

Ø  To put others in context, you will make several paragraphs in which you explain, now, the place you have visited and want to comment, naming important aspects such as customs, places or their people.

 

Ø  Once you have talked about all the aspects that are requested, you will proceed to make a summary of your interview naming only the most important details that you want the listener to remember.

 

Ø  Not only do you have to make a summary, but you must also provide your opinion and give your point of view.

 

Ø  Finally, thank the listeners for their active listening and want your presentation to have been pleasing and useful to others.

 

If you follow these tips, your presentation will be fantastic.

 

 

 

ACTIVITIES

 

Activity 1: “Tell us your own story”.

Developement: Once the procedure of the presentations has been explained, you must use your imagination and your knowledge of English to write a presentation in which you expose a trip or excursion that you have made and that you want to share with your colleagues. Remember: use the materials from the previous sessions, they will be very useful.

Grouping: Individually, each student will write their own story.
