Too and enough. -Andrea Rapado.
Session 3:
“Too” and “enough”
Both
are used for expressing quantities.
We
can find them quantifying adverbs, adjectives and also names.
Too
means more than what is necessary.
Enough
means as much as necessary.
TOO:
It
is used for indicating excess. It means “demasiado”. It can be used with others
adjectives or adverbs.
-
Adjectives and
Adverbs: it serves to intensify the
value of an adjective or adverb. It´s construction is always the same: first it
will go too and then the adjective or adverb.
I
am too short to play basketball.
ENOUGH:
We
can use this adverb with nouns, adjectives or another adverb. It means
“suficiente”, and depending on which type of word accompanies, it will occupy a
different position in the sentences.
-
Nouns: enough
will go first and then the name.
My
dad doesn´t have enough space in the wardrobe to store clothes.
-
Adjectives and
Adverbs: the adjective or adverb
goes first and then enough.
I
am not strong enough to lift weights.

Como aspecto positivo me gustaría decir que la explicación esta muy bien organizada y es fácil de entender. Además, me ha parecido muy interesante y buena idea que el blog lo hayan realizado en inglés.
ResponderEliminarComo aspecto de posible mejora, yo creo que se podría añadir al inicio de la sesión una explicación general de lo que se va a tratar en esa sesión.
